On May 19, 2020, Valeria Orobinskaya introduced the team development of “SMART - Technologies for Food Safety” within the framework of the scientific and educational module “Food Safety Regulation in the European Union” project (ERASMUS + 600244-EPP-1-2018-1-RU- EPPJMO-MODULE “Food Safety Regulation in the European Union” (Erasmus + JeanMonnet)) at the national scientific-practical conference “Smart Technologies in Education 2020” and the national competition “Best Portfolio 2020” in the nomination “Smart Technologies for New Educational projects".

The project was developed by the team of the Department of Food Technology and Commodity Science at the School of Caucasian Hospitality (Valeria Orobinskaya, Tatyana Shchedrina, Timur Shaltumaev, Natalya Limareva) and the innovative interuniversity team “Vektor-V” (first-year student of North-Caucasian Federal University Gagulashvili Albert and Irina Pyatigorsky, 3rd year student) Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy).
